Drive& Guidelines

Drive& Guidelines

For easier legibility, we also refer to users of the NATIX Drive& App as "you" or the "user", to the NATIX Drive& app as "Drive&" or the "App" and to NATIX as "we". The definitions of the Drive& Terms of use also apply in these guidelines.
These are the Guidelines referenced in the Drive& Terms of use.
The values and requirements below can change depending on the needs of the NATIX Network's success. We'll notify you about those as explained in the Terms of use.
Users are assigned to a specific geographical region (the “Region”). Regional allocation is at the discretion of NATIX. Certain Regions can have a Regional Leaderboard that resets at the end of each month (“Regions with an active Cycle”). Whether a Region has an active Cycle or not is a decision made at the discretion of NATIX. Only Users not assigned to Regions with an active Cycle are eligibe to collect Points and convert Points into rewards according to the provisions of Drive& Terms of Use and these Guidelines. Users are able to see in the App whether their Region is a Region with an active Cycle.
Points collection
  1. 1.
    Sign up: You’ll receive points for registering successfully as described in How to Earn Points with Drive&.
  2. 2.
    Driving points
    1. 1.
      Preconditions: to collect points by driving and detecting:
      1. 1.
        your phone needs to have accurate enough GPS of “20 m” accuracy or better;
      2. 2.
        your phone needs a working internet connection – the DNS ping needs to be accessible continuously;
      3. 3.
        you need to drive at a certain minimum speed specified in How to Earn Points with Drive& and
      4. 4.
        you need to detect a minimum number of detections in each driving session as specified in How to Earn Points with Drive&.
    2. 2.
      Points collection criteria: if the above preconditions are met, you will collect points during each session (base points), which are still subject to the Multipliers below. The criteria how you earn Points while driving are described in How to Earn Points with Drive&.
    3. 3.
      Multipliers can increase or decrease the points you collected above by multiplying each base point with the applicable multipliers. Drive& will credit you the resulting number of points at the end of each session after the final calculation. These multipliers vary depending on what Road Data are needed at the times and locations you drove. The overview of what multipliers exist and apply can be found in How to Earn Points with Drive&.
      1. 1.
        Some areas have high multipliers, e.g. roughly the continental areas or major landmasses of some individual countries or international areas.
      2. 2.
        If another User or you detected the same detection type in the same location within a specified time before you, the points of this one detection of yours will be decreased by a multiplier. You receive linearly more points, the longer ago that detection was.
      3. 3.
        Almost simultaneous detections: you don't receive the previous decreasing multiplier, if your detection is part of a certain number of almost simultaneous detections. In this case a separate multiplier is applicable. The current settings are defined in How to Earn Points with Drive&.
    4. 4.
      Random bonus points: after a session you may randomly receive an overall bonus on all of the Points you collected from detecting during this session by tapping the banner on the celebration page or on the home screen. The banner will be displayed in the App several hours after your session, and you will need to claim your bonus points before you start another session. If you start a new session before claiming the bonus points from the last session, you will no longer be able to claim the previous session’s bonus points. The current applicable settings of this multiplier are defined in How to Earn Points with Drive&.
    5. 5.
      Maximum points per time: you can you can only earn a maximum number of points per day – please read How to Earn Points with Drive& to find the current maximum number of points per day.
  3. 3.

    You can also earn additional points by completing time-limited Missions. Further information can be found in the respective Terms for each Campaign.
