Grant all permissions required to the VX360 App: Bluetooth, GPS with precise location.
Sign into your Tesla Account (credentials not stored by NATIX).
Plug VX360 into your Tesla’s glovebox USB port or a home USB charger.
Wait 30 seconds for the device to boot up and pair your device.
Configure the Wi-Fi network you’ll use to upload footage to the Cloud: select a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Network with WPA2 security. If you have an issue to connect to your Wi-Fi, please go

Position your phone on the center console/charging pad or a phone mount — avoid keeping it in your pocket or bag. Your phone will be used while you drive to collect additional metadata to enrich the footage collected with VX360.
Wait a few minutes before driving after plugging the device to ensure your VX360 is fully connected.
Check the connectivity widget on your home screen — if it’s active, you’re all set to start driving and earning!
Keep the app open and logged in— The app must be logged in and runs in the background (or foreground) to collect footage while you drive. Regularly open the app in the foreground to make sure everything works!
Maintain Speed: To ensure your footage is clear and eligible for earnings, you must drive between 2 and 80 km/h. If you have more than 20 GB of pending uploads, the required speed range changes to 5–50 km/h. These thresholds are flexible and may be adjusted in the future based on data quality requirements.
Place your phone on the Tesla charging pad or a phone mount. The app UI may take some time to update—just keep your phone stable during the drive, and the UI will refresh few minutes after you’re parked and display "Pending Footage".
While you’re driving or when your car is parked with Sentry Mode enabled, your VX360 should be collecting footage.
VX360 backup three types of footage:
Tesla Dashcam Footage: Recorded while you drive, capturing incidents or events based on your Tesla’s settings.
Tesla Sentry Mode Footage: Automatically recorded when your Tesla detects suspicious activity near your vehicle.
NATIX VX360 Clips: Automatically captures key moments from your drive, collecting valuable data to enhance maps and improve autonomous driving applications. Upload VX360 clips as soon as possible after driving to earn rewards!
Note: Dashcam and Sentry Mode footage are default recording modes from Tesla. NATIX Network never shares these recordings with third parties. Only VX360 Clips are used to improve map building and autonomous driving applications.
You will collect Tesla Dashcam Footage and Tesla Sentry Mode Footage regardless of your Connectivity Status. To collect NATIX VX360 clips and earn rewards ensure that:
Open the Tesla dashcam settings Controls > Safety > Dashcam and ensure it is set to Auto or Manual mode.
A grey or red dot should be displayed next to the dashcam icon in your expanded app launcher.
If the dashcam icon doesn’t turn grey or red: unplug and reconnect the VX360. If the issue persists, try using a different cable.

Drive during Daytime: You need to drive between 05:00 and 22:00 to be eligible for rewards, as this timeframe ensures the collection of high-quality clear footage.
Your VX360 device needs to be plugged to power, if your Tesla goes to sleep it might interrupt uploading unless enable Sentry or enable "Keep Accessory Power On"
Located on the Home Screen, the upload widget helps you checking your footage upload status:
To troubleshoot, it’s important to distinguish whether the device isn’t collecting footage or isn’t uploading footage.
• If you keep seeing the “Start Collecting” widget after your drive, your VX360 isn’t collecting any footage — you need to go here to troubleshoot!
• If you see the ‘Pending Upload’ widget on the home screen, your VX360 is collecting footage. However, if it stays in this status even when connected to Wi-Fi you’re in the right place to troubleshoot!
Troubleshooting Checklist:
Ensure your VX360 App is updated to the latest version.
Ensure your VX360 device is within range of a known stable Wi-Fi. We recommend connecting the VX360 to a Wi-Fi with at least 20 Mbps for optimal usage.

While you’re near your VX360 and connected to a stable Wi-Fi network: Open Side Menu > Device Settings > Configure Wi-Fi.
In the list of saved Wi-Fi, make sure your network shows as "Connected"
