# Data Monetization and Value Accrual

The data generated by the NATIX Network is monetized in stable/fiat currencies to reduce barriers to purchasing the data for the data consumers. The (protocol) revenue is distributed as follows: 

* 40% Buyback and burn $NATIX tokens 
* 35% $NATIX staking rewards 
* 25% R\&D costs for continued development

The distribution can change during the project’s lifetime, subject to governance voting.
