# Staking and network participation

Users who wish to gain access to system governance and/or participate in the validation program would be subject to a minimum $NATIX staking requirement to prevent malicious activities.

Staking options will have an “instant withdrawal” option, where users forfeit a percentage of their tokens to withdraw instantly.

Details of staking programs will be published at a later stage.
